11 on 11 – seasons
seasons… april offered us a little bit of everything… snow, rain, storms, wind, a crack of sun now and then, and finally a few things starting to bloom. it had me thinking about seasons in life and how fast it all goes. and also how one season so perfectly preps you for the next, if you embrace it whole heartedly instead of having your sights set on what the next has to offer.

and this funny little smiley face sunshine ballon that ended up coming with us on several adventures. even with it just floating through the house it seemed to brighten up a lot of days. it’s the little things…

Little Violet is such a beauty. I can’t believe she’s 4 months already! I really love how you captured the gold willow branches against the moody sky. I can’t tell you how often I look out my living room window at the willows nearby … they’re slowing growing buds and turning more and more green each day. And you’re so right about our weather… April has to be one of my favorite months just due to the sheer variety of weather! You name it, thunder, hail, snow, sunshine… it can happen.
